Mother's Day Appeal
Each year MMBNE holds a Mother's Day appeal to support milk bankoperations and to honor mothers, grandmothers, aunts and friends.
This yearly appeal focuses on raising much-needed funds from friends
and family one letter at a time. A letter of appreciation will be sent to
the donor and a Mother’s Day Card acknowledging the gift will be sent
to the honoree.
Goodsearch & Goodshop: A two-for-one easy fundraiser
Goodsearch.com is a search engine, similar to Google or Yahoo. Each time you use it, Goodsearch contributes a little over one cent to the cause you choose. Make goodsearch.com your default search engine and with each search you will be making a contribution to MMBNE.Goodshop.com brings together over 700 online stores, giving a percentage of your online purchases to your cause. The next time you want to shop online, go to goodshop.com and see if your store is listed, then order through Goodshop. If we each designate MMBNE as our cause, the pennies will add up to needed funds to help premature and sick babies throughout New England to receive human milk.

- $150 provides milk for a full term baby in need for one day.
- $200 pays for donor screening for a new donor mother
- $800 provides donor milk for a full herm baby in need for one week.
- $1,000 pays for a freezer to store our milk
- $5,000 pays for a pasteurizer

MMBNE's new booklet, "Use of Pasteurized Donor Human Milk as NICU Standard of Care" provides hospitals with a template for establishing a NICU donor milk program, as well as samples of protocols for staff, education flyers and informed consent for parents.
